On December 20, the Liberal Democratic Party and the Komeito Party decided on the "Outline of tax reform for fiscal year 2025." In terms of personal income tax, the basic deduction amount and the minimum guaranteed amount of the salary income deduction will each be increased by 100,000 yen from the income tax for fiscal year 2025, and a new "special deduction for specific relatives (tentative name)" will be created to accommodate the work adjustments of student part-timers.
